During the 2026-2027 academic year, first-year Sixth Form students at our school will participate in the 17th National Young Business Talents (YBT) Competition, a prestigious business simulation programme that provides students with a unique opportunity to experience the challenges and responsibilities of managing a company in a realistic and dynamic environment.
This will be the fifth year that our school has taken part in this educational initiative, reinforcing its commitment to innovative learning experiences that bring the business world into the classroom.
The students have recently registered for the competition and are embarking on this exciting challenge with enthusiasm, determination and ambitious goals. Their primary motivations are to gain a deeper understanding of how businesses operate and to pursue the dream of reaching the national final, which brings together the highest-performing teams from across Spain in Madrid.
Throughout the academic year, participants will step into the role of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of a company competing in the automotive industry. They will be required to analyse market conditions, develop business strategies, make key management decisions, allocate resources efficiently and evaluate performance in an increasingly competitive and constantly evolving marketplace. Through its advanced business simulator, Young Business Talents recreates real-life business scenarios with remarkable accuracy.
Beyond developing economic and business knowledge, the competition fosters essential skills such as teamwork, leadership, strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, digital competence and effective decision-making. For this reason, our school is proud to support Young Business Talents once again, confident that it provides an outstanding opportunity for students to grow both academically and personally while preparing for the challenges and opportunities of their future studies and professional careers.
