At El Pinar, we understand education as the holistic formation of the individual, where academic and personal development go hand in hand with spiritual growth. We therefore provide our pupils with a welcoming environment founded on Christian values and supported by close pastoral care, helping them to discover and live their faith in a natural, meaningful way, appropriate to each stage of their development. Prayer, reflection and community life are an integral part of everyday school life.
Our programme of spiritual formation includes Religious Education, catechesis and a range of pastoral activities that enable children and young people to discover the message of Jesus and learn how to live it in their daily lives. We aim to provide every pupil with opportunities to grow in values such as respect, solidarity, generosity and commitment to others, fostering the integration of faith, culture and everyday life.
As part of this spiritual journey, families who wish to do so may choose to prepare their children to receive the sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, Reconciliation (Confession) and Confirmation. This preparation is carried out in close partnership with families and the wider school community, helping pupils to experience each sacrament as a meaningful step in their journey of faith.
We also encourage a strong Marian devotion and celebrate a variety of liturgical and pastoral events throughout the school year, strengthening our sense of community and belonging. Our aim is for every child and young person to grow not only in knowledge, but also in values and spirituality, preparing them to build a future rooted in service, respect for others and the common good.
