Its Patron is Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, who is its Mother and the finest Teacher of knowledge, love and union with her Divine Son. DOYMAR was founded in 1984 in response to the Holy Year of Redemption, as a Youth Prayer Movement.
It is a youth movement that aspires to vitality, dynamism and walking together towards a shared goal: to love Jesus Christ. It is made up of young men and women aged approximately 15 to 23, who are offered the opportunity to come together to seek, know, love and serve God.
Eucharistic Children
Ages 7 to 10. Children who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of First Communion
and those who have already received it.
Adolescent Wayfarers
Ages 11 to 15. Adolescents who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and those who have already received it.
Young Pilgrims
Approximately ages 16 to 24. Young people who aspire to become more committed members of the Association. They may belong to smaller groups called cenacles, with the aim of deepening their faith and Christian commitment.
Solidarity Associates
Young Pilgrims from the age of 24 onwards who wish to live out the Spirituality of the Daughters of Saint Mary of the Heart of Jesus in the midst of the world, in married or professional life.
